UK indie folk duo, Percival Elliott, reiterates the rare momentary bliss we often experiencing by meeting someone who, may or may not stay with us, in their new single “Forever.” Beyond any typical love song, “Forever” mainly aims at time-capsuling a moment with its gliding strings and wholehearted lyrics. The piano taps and introspective ambience create a vintagey ambience where the comforting vocals of Olly Hite boxes you in the exquisite, emotional instant. Stream below:
“Forever is about a chance meeting with someone. Sparks and butterflies, even if it’s just for a second, that feeling can last forever” shared Olly.
The other half of Percival Elliott is Samuel Carter-Brazier, who started songsculpting with Olly in 2014. Named after Olly’s great grandfather (who also created one of the first ice cream empires in Brighton), Percival Elliott has already wrapped up a national tour with top-charting artists and collaborated with other singer such as Fatboy Slim. “Forever” is from their upcoming record Save Your Soul, which will be out in 2018.
