Aussie duo Geowulf takes us into a lo-fi shoegazey atmosphere in their new dreamy single “Sunday” where they capture bittersweet moment we feel during the funday’s sundown. You’re trying to enjoy the last hours of the weekend, but your mind is already wandering to your Monday to-do list. Drenched with sun-kissed vibe, “Sunday” emits a surreal aesthetic aura with bluesy undertones that leaves you emotionally stranded between starry-eyed dreams and cruel reality. Stream below:

“‘Sunday’ is a favorite of ours in the album,” the band shared. “It’s a little cruiser of a song meant to make you feel all the good things. Lyrically it’s about feeling like Sunday is a pretty lonely day sometimes.”

The track is from Geowulf’s upcoming debut album, Great Big Blue, which will be out on February 16th. Known for their 2016 single “Saltwater,” which was used for a national Corona ad in North America, Geowulf has become one of the most fastest rising pop power duo in the past few years. They’ve supported other artists such as Portugal The Man, Tove Stryke, Dgany, and JONES. To celebrate the release of their album, Geowulf will be playing a headline show next month:
