Taking us to the chest-swelling heights of pop rock, Rhymes pours out the shards of a broken heart in their new single “Lost Love.” Despite being about loss, it is an upbeat mood-pumping piece where the textural buildup of the song leaves you high with your emotions. “Lost Love” feels like a grief, but also the optimistic acceptance that romance can be found again. “‘Lost Love’ is all about loosing love. But it is still a hopeful song, because love is an eternal spark that can always reappear,” shared singer Tomas Karlsson.

Aside from Tomas, Rhymes is also made up of Adam Ehlert (drums), Oscar Lindeberg (bass), and Erik Eklund (guitar). The track was recorded in Stockholm back in fall of 2017 and mastered by Lars Norgren (Tove Lo). Rhymes started out in Uppsala, Sweden back in 2016 and has quickly made waves in the indie pop rock scene. While they haven’t shared any announcements regarding upcoming record, they have show dates coming up:

2/17 – Katalin (Uppsala, Sweden)

4/6 – Three Wise Monkeys (Colchester, UK)
