UK duo Dark Dark Horse does not push, but demolish the boundaries of indietronic pop with their new theatrical single “And Then We Had Nothing At All.” If you want your imagination to stretch and hair-raising ambient vibrations to crawl into your skin, then “And Then We Had Nothing At All” is just for you. The song doesn’t half-ass, but goes all the way to the extreme heights of cosmic thumps and electrifying buzz. Stream below:
“’And Then We Had Nothing At All’ is perhaps the most epic and ambitious song we’ve recorded so far. At over seven minutes long it defies the typical conventions of a single but it’s power, beauty and grandeur was something we felt needed its own space.” explained producer/multi-instrumentalist JamieWard.
The other half of Dark Dark Horse is singer James Stafford, who have been crafting glacial pop sound that sounds like from another planet. The band has been in hiatus while Ward was touring full time with instrumentalists Maybeshewill but reemerged back in 2017 with their new EP Luna II, which was released back in April. The duo has a show coming up:
