US rock/rap quartet From Ashes To New soundtracked the edge of your breakdown with their new single “Crazy.” If you like Linkin Park and Simple Plan, then this is the band that you must have under your radar. “Crazy” is the sound of rock that Millennials grew up with – it’s aggressive but vulnerable and bombards you with bursting beats that demolishes any frustrations that you’ve accumulated throughout the day. It’s therapy:

“Crazy is, at its core, a song about someone or something driving you absolutely out of your mind and feeling unable to walk away from it. I feel like everyone at one point or another experiences that in their lives”, explained Danny Case. “For me personally, I dated someone for a very short period of time and it felt like everything I said and did was wrong. I honestly thought I was losing my mind because I knew it was a bad situation, but I just felt like I couldn’t walk away. I think having that life experience really helped when we sat down and wrote the lyrics.”

“Crazy” is from the band’s upcoming record The Future, which will be out on April 20th. The band broke into the scene back in 2016 with their album Day One and since then went through a lot of internal changes. Now comprised of Matt Brandyberry (founder, rapper, programmer), Lance Dowdle (guitar), Danny Case (vocals), and Mat Madiro (drums), From Ashes To New is re-rising with a more ambitious sound. They have some show dates coming up:

2/8 – Black Sheep (Colorado Springs, CO, USA)

2/9 – Bourbon Theatre (Licoln, NE, USA)

2/11 – RocHaus (Dundee, IL, USA)

5/4 – Charlotte Motor Speedway (Concord, NC, USA)

5/5 – Carolina Rebellion (Concord, NC, USA)

5/18 – MAPFRE Stadium (Columbus, OH, USA)
