LA-based trio Little Monarch awakens our inner transcendentalist side with their new video “No Matter What” where they vicariously take us on a road trip back to nature. Exploring all the beauty of flora in Malibu, Little Monarch brings sun-soaked Californian vibes that makes us feel like it’s already summer. The song is a reggae-fused pop built on breezy synths that breaths warmth into your ears. Watch below:

“For the video we simply wanted to capture the care free, sun kissed feeling of the song. Those days when you wake up and all you can think of doing is driving towards the ocean with your friends, and letting adventure unfold around you. So many of us feel the tug of our inner dreamer pulling us closer to nature yet rarely do we give ourselves permission to follow it’s call… even just for a day. We write a lot of our music with that in mind; songs that hold space for us and listeners to get away from whatever might be dragging us down.” shared Little Monarch.

Comprised of Casey Kalmenson (vocals, guitar), Lanita Smith (vocals, keys), and Justin Andres (guitar, bass), Little Monarch became one of the fastest rising bands with their viral self-titled EP, which broke 15 million Spotify streams since its October 2016 release. The trio is planning to release a second EP and tour alongside with Penguin Prison this summer:

4/27 – Teragram Ballroom (Los Angeles, CA, USA)

4/28 – The Independent (San Francisco, CA, USA)

5/1 – Mississippi Studios (Portland, OR, USA)

5/2 – The Crocodile (Seattle, WA, USA)
