New York City-based duo Me Not You takes us into a time-capsule of 90s post-grunge and contemporary rock with their single “Surfers.” Built on enigmatic imageries and upliftingly dark melody, “Surfers” feels like a breeze through the early phase of love where we are torn between desire and doubt. Despite its instrumental heftiness, the track feels light and puts you in a go-with-the-flow mental state. Stream below:

“Surfers” is from Me Not You’s forthcoming EP, Reckoning 2, which they haven’t announced any release dates yet. Formed back in 2016, Me Not You crafts post-grunge rock that also carries influences of shoegaze. When they’re not songsculpting, they’re Photoshopping scribbles on their faces.
