Complicated Animals takes us into an intimate party of two in their new video “Show Me” where we see the duo showcase their groovy swag under the neon lights. While mostly known for their indie nova sound, Complicated Animals took a more synthpop trajectory with “Show Me” and it’s one sun-kissed dreamy banger. The seductive croons of vocalist Monica da Silva and lush production of Chad Alger effortlessly take you into a melodic high where they speak to our longing for one-to-one intimacy. Watch below:

“‘Show Me (that you want me)’ really struck me as an intense idea for a song,” shared Monica. “It’s scary how detached we humans have become. Technology is great, but we’ve got to remember how important human interaction is, and not just go through the motions like zombies. For this song, Chad dug an old synthesizer we had out of the closet. We started stacking sounds and layering vocals. The production came together quickly, and virtually all of the sounds in the track were created using the same synth.”

Complicated Animals formed in Chicago back in 2007 and released their first album Brasilissima in 2010. Since then, their works have been featured in movies (Lady Bird), TV shows (The Replacement), World Cup, and many more. The duo recently moved to LA and have a some show dates coming up.
