Geowulf Explores The Lonely Corners Of Parties In “Sunday”

Finding loneliness in a crowd.

Aussie duo Geowulf shows us that even in crowded parties, you can still find lonely corners in their new video “Sunday.” We see the duo attending a party where everyone is dressed in white. Amidst the people, you can see Geowulf looking a bit lost and not interacting with anyone. This lack of connection is prominent when we see vocalist Star Kendrick leaning against a mirror where she is surrounded with reflections of others and herself. Despite the party around her, she is isolated and treats them as mere reflections. Watch below:

In regards to the track, Geowulf describes it as “a little cruiser of a song, meant to make you feel all the good things. Lyrically it’s about feeling like Sunday is a pretty lonely day sometimes.”

“Sunday” is from Geowulf’s debut LP, Great Big Blue, which was released back in Feburary 16 of this year. Comprised of Star Kendrick (vocals) and Toma Banjanin (guitar/vocals), Geowulf debuted their first track “Saltwater” in July 2016 and have already accumulated more than 8 million streams on Spotify. The duo is currently living in London and will be playing at various festivals across the UK:

5/5-6 – Sound City Festival (Liverpool, UK)

5/5-6 – Handmade Festival (Leicester, UK)

5/19-20 – Gold Sounds Festival 2018 (Leeds, UK)
