Future Jr. Brings The 80s Sparkles Into The Roller Rink In His New Video

Aussie artist Future Jr. relives the 80s youth and skating fever in his new video “Tell Me That I’m Wrong.” Directed by Future Jr. himself and Joshua Hodgman, the video showcases an enigmatic romantic tension and a group of misfit-looking kids. The track itself is a fizzling piece of ethereal pop where the soft, howling vocals of Future Jr. soar over the mesh-like sonic texture. Watch below:

In regards to the video, Future Jr. shared, “I’m a massive fan of 80’s cinema. I came up with the idea after watching The Warriors and The Breakfast Club back to back and wondered what a combination of those two movies might look like with a little bit of today’s aesthetic sprinkled in.”

“Tell Me That I’m Wrong” is from Future Jr.’s debut EP Vacancy, which came out on March 2nd of this year. You can stream the entire EP below:
