Said The Whale’s “Congratulations” Is Celebratory Folk Pop That You Almost Didn’t Get To Hear

Canadian trio Said the Whale has unveiled their previously unreleased song “Congratulations,” which is part of their upcoming deluxe edition of As Long As Your Eyes Are Wide. The LP was originally released back in 2017, but the trio will be releasing a deluxe edition on March 30 and includes 10 additional tracks, five B-sides, four acoustics, and one cover song. Here’s a taste:

Moreover, the trio has recently announced that they will be releasing a five-episode podcast, Demoitis, which will be available on iTunes later this month. The band will be diseccing a song in each episode along with other musicians including Max Kerman (Arkells), Graham Wright (Tokyo Police Club), Ryan Guldemond (Mother Mother) and others. They have show dates coming up:
