NTS: Don’t be an arsehole

Aussie artist Hein Cooper gives us a sophisticated-er and artsy reminder to be authentic to ourselves with his latest single “Hear My Voice.” It’s basically a melodic memo that Hein created to stop being an‘arsehole’ and stay aligned with his mind/heart. Channeling the emotional air and hooks similar to the likes of Ed Sheeran and Shawn Mendes, Hein Cooper is another voice of pop that is not afraid to dig deeply into emotional matters:

“This song is about my experiences with falsehood, of hiding behind a version of myself that I’ve built up in a fantasy influenced by all the information thrown at us in 2018. It’s a conversation that I’m having with myself, basically saying: ‘Are you in there? Coz the guy answering the door is an arsehole and there’s gotta be someone else I can talk too!’” shared Hein.Co-produced by Will Hicks (Ed Sheeran, James Hersey), “Hear My Voice” is the follow up of Hein’s debut album The Art Escape, which came out back in March 4th, 2016. Since then, he’s been touring around in support of it. And speaking of that, he has shows coming up:

4/27 – Black Bear Lodge (Fortitude Valley, Australia)

4/28 – The Penny Black (Brunswick, Australia)

4/29 – Porch Sessions (Adelaide, Australia)

5/3 – Leadbelly (Newtown, Australia)
