Eleanor Friedberger taps into a colossal, all-inclusive subject in her new single “Everything.” Thematically, the song is about everything…you can interpret it as you want. The melody though is an upbeat introspective pop piece that also radiates the moodiness of knowing that our reward center is an insatiable blackhole that will constantly itch. Nothing is enough to be everything for you:
