We Are Scientists Take Us Into Rated R Wilderness In “Heart Is A Weapon”

Brooklyn duo We Are Scientists share their The Revenant-inspired video “Heart Is A Weapon” where we see the band’s Keith Murray (vocalist/guitarist/stripper) go through similar physical challenges that Leonardo DiCaprio did. Directed by Chris Cain (bassist/visionary?), “Heart Is A Weapon” does not have bear wrestling, but has bare nudity:

“Unless you’re willing to brave death — and, here, that means facing the literal threat of exposure, drowning, tetanus, and (probably) a wolf attack — then, in my estimation, you haven’t earned the right to sing three-minute radio-pop songs,” said Keith. “Now, I’ve earned it.”

“Heart Is A Weapon” is from the duo’s upcoming sixth album Megaplex, which will be out on April 27th. They are on tour now:
