Scott Quinn’s “Run” Is For Everyone Who Have Been Ghosted

Whether you’re actually guilty of being the toxic friend/partner or not, getting ghosted is not pleasant – you’re pretty much getting exiled out of someone’s life. UK artist Scott Quinn brings that emotional turmoil into a soulful rush in his single “Run.” If you have been unexpectedly weeded out of someone you’re close to, then “Run” sits in that perfect midtempo spot where Scott exhales the confusion and pain that comes with it. In regards to the track, Scott explained, “it’s painful to watch someone cut you out of their life because they think that’s where the answers lie, when in truth the answer lies in themselves and their demons. I guess this song is both an emotive journal of a very turbulent and anxious time in my life and also a testament to unconditional love and patience.”

Having worked with artists such as SG Lewis and toured with Aquilo, Scott Quinn is becoming the latest buzz in the UK soul/R&B scene. He will be playing his first headline show in June, so see him in person:
