Atella’s ‘Beacon One’ EP Is Galactic House For Alien Parties

Norwegian duo Atella is a hidden gem who came in the form of “Nothing” under our radars (oh, the irony). After overdosing “Nothing” at the gym, traffic, and hike to the Hollywood sign, we decided to dig into Atella’s galaxy further. “Nothing” is from their latest EP, Beacon One, which was released back in February 16 and even has a featuring song with AURORA (“Ascension”). “Nothing” falls into the groovier side whereas the other ones, such as “Ascension” and “Alive,” are far more ambient ones that swallow you into their expansive soundscapes. The exiting track “Transition” is a quirky wave where instead of traditional lyrics, the duo throws us with some female voice recording in Japanese. Stream below:
