UK rising artist Blanco White has shares his latest insomnia-inspired single “Nocturne” where he takes us into a hauntingly ethereal delirium we all experienced at some point during a sleepless night. Built on shimmering chords and drenched in melancholic ambience, “Nocturne” is a discreet and mind-boggling track that captures your private, intimate moment you have with your delusions during the ungodly hours of the night. Stream below:

“For me, Nocturne is a very visual song. The lyrics are mostly descriptive and were drawn from memories and images of night that felt triggered by the chords and feel of the music when I first played it. Written late after not enough sleep, I wanted to communicate a feeling of delirium throughout the song whilst at the same time exploring the surreal clarity and otherworldly colours of night in a remote place.” shared Blanco White.

Josh Edwards is the mastermind behind Blnco White who studied guitar in Cádiz, Spain and charango in Sucre, Bolivia. With two EPs under his belt, Blanco has already accumulated more than 40 million streams and performed sold-out shows in NYC, Amsterdam, London, Groningen, and Switzerland. He currently has shows coming up in the fall:

11/13 – Village Underground (London, UK)

11/15 – Bitterzoet (Amsterdam, Netherlands)

11/16 – Botanique (Brussels, Belgium)
