There is an undeniable desire for belonging in The Rareflowers’ new power pop single “New Generation” – a hazy conglomerate of dream pop, indie rock, and guitar strikes that are filled with aerated synths. It is a buoyant piece that offers the same meditative atmosphere of shoegaze but is trimmed with the hooks and loops of chill lo-fi pop. Stream below:

“New Generation” is from The Rareflowers’ upcoming debut EP, which will be out on June 29th via Good Eye Records. Comprised of siblings Jimmy (guitar, lead vocals) and Kane Maraday (bass, vocals) and frined Aaron Gollubier (drums), The Rareflowers is a NJ-based trio who fromed back in 2013. Since then, they’ve released singles independently before signing to Good Eye Records. The trio has a show coming up in July:

7/13 – Sunnyvale (Brooklyn, NY, USA)
