Following his critically acclaimed debut EP Codeine, Welles has now unveiled his debut LP Red Trees and White Trashes today. If you like psychedelic rock with a pinch of classic rock swag, then this record is a keeper:

Welles wrote the album while he was living in a communal art space in the college town of Fayetteville, Arkansas, which he describes it as a “little Andy Warhol experiment. It was crazy.” Having supported the likes of Royal Blood, Great Van Fleet, and played at big festivals like Bonnnaroo, Welles is going back onstage again this summer. Catch him in person:
