UK post-hardcore quartet Hypophora shows us a cathartic performance in their new video “Spires.” If you need an adrenaline-booster or simply a vicarious means to release any frustrations, “Spires” is the song. It’s invigorating and ready to destroy any lingering annoyances that you may have hoarded:

“Spires” is from the band’s upcoming debut album Douse, which will be out on September 21st via Easy Action/Zen Ten Records. “We’d like to bring guitar music back to the mainstream but bring it back with important and relatable lyrical messages, unconventional song structure, odd timings and a fusion style approach to mixing genres.” explained the band when talking about the new album. “There’s far too much music at the moment with transparent, bland, emotionless lyrical content and chord structures/riffs that have been done a thousand times. We wanna bring weird and interesting music back!”
