There’s a reason why the old adage “Keep your friends close and your enemies closer” still applies to this day. Your buddies may have reached a certain level of comfort that makes them act like apes on acid around you sometimes  at least your enemies behave more carefully since they are secretly planning to slaughter you. EVAN GIIA taps into those sporadic friend-loathing moments in her new banging single “I Don’t Like Ur Friends” where she dexterously combines a slithery rhythmic soundscape with bursting hooks that take you on a dance with your own hate/love towards your squad. In regards to the single, GIIA “wrote it during a time when I needed to let out some frustrations about how my friends were acting. So many of my friends have asked me if this song is about them haha, I will never tell! I hope people can listen, smile and feel badass.”

“I Don’t Like Ur Friends” is out now via ODESZA’s Foreign Family Collective. GIIA broke into scene with her debut release “Westworld,” which garnered more than million Spotify streams and made waves across radio stations. The gal currently has a show coming up in August:
