Watching Fascinator Float (& Suffer) In “Drenched Out” Is Oddly Satisfying

Aussie NY-based artist Fascinator shows us his mastery of floating in water using a flat piece of wood in his new video “Drenched Out” in case you might find yourself in a Titanic scenario. Although the video looks like Fascinator is experiencing some kind of enlightenment within the fluidity of Mother Ocean, it was actually freezing as fuck and may even resemble the iceberg-level coldness of the movie. Directed by the mastermind himself, “Drenched Out” is a graceful self-inflicted pain of suffering for the sake of killer visuals:

Speaking of the video, Fascinator shared, “We had planned to build a raft out of junk and beach debris in Montauk but happened to find that piece of decking right by the water where we were shooting so just loaded the bottom with lifejackets so it didn’t completely sink. Might not look it, but it was bloody freezing.”

“Drenched Out” is from Fascinator’s second album Water Sign, which is out now via Spinning Top. He’s currently on tour supporting Pearl Charles, so go say hi:
