Madeline Kenney makes all of our boss dreams come true in her new video “Cut Me Off” where she showcases her badassery and dance moves around her office. It’s like watching the edgier and alternative version of Anna Wintour who does everything that we’ve ever wanted to do – groove your leadership skills into action. Watch below:

“Cut Me Off” is from Madeline’s upcoming sophomore album, Perfect Shapes, which was produced by Wye Oak’s Jenn Wasner. Originally from Pacific Northwest, Madeline grew up learning classical piano and dance since kindergarten. After studying Interpersonal Neurobiology (it’s the study of …brain¯\_(ツ)_/¯), she moved to San Francisco in 2013 and began collaborating with Toro y Moi’s Chaz Bear. Her debut album, Night Night at the First Landing, was produced by Chaz and gained critical acclaim. Perfect Shapes deals with themes of feminism, expectations, self-worth, and societal pressures that feel both personal and universal. The gal is currently on tour with Wye Oak and will be announcing headline show dates soon:
