Satellite Stories’ “Carried Away” Is For Moments When You Lose Track Of Reality

Finnish quartet Satellite Stories captures the mind-wandering moment of taking a raincheck from reality in their new single “Carried Away.” It’s a dreamy synthrock piece where the gently-cutting croons and chest-swelling ambience boxes you into that self-introspective space where your get to indulge into your own brain dump. “‘Carried Away’ is a song about losing track with reality, but also realizing that’s part of life” explained band’s vocalist Esa Mankinen.

The track is from the quartet’s fifth and final album Cut Out The Lights, which will be out on September 7th. The four will also embark in a farewell tour this fall, so see them in person:
