The Mind Is A Chaotic Party Of Its Own In Tall Heights’ “The Deep End”

Boston-based electrofolk duo Tall Heights takes us into a chromatic party in their new video “The Deep End.” We see the duo surrounded by people who are napping before they wake up and start dancing like crazy. It feels like a resemblance of your own mind – in one moment, you’re mentally calm and not really digging deep into your own existential thoughts. But then suddenly, your brain decides to throw a party of random thoughts and emotions that can’t be stopped. Taken from their upcoming album Pretty Colors For Your Actions (out this fall), “The Deep End” captures the cheery melancholic state we all live in:

“There’s something flesh and blood about Pretty Colors For Your Actions. This album, more than anything we’ve made to date, really feels alive. It’s living, breathing music,” shared Tall Heights about their upcoming project. “We’ve always been influenced by the electronic instrumentation of drum machines and synthesizers, but we approached this album with a renewed respect to the breadth of human performance. So you won’t be surprised to learn that we’re beyond pumped to finally share these songs live with our fans all over the world this fall.”

Comprised of Paul Wright (cello/voccals) and Tim Harrington (acoustic guitar/vocals), Tall Heights have already accumulated 120 million streams and recently toured around the world with other acts including Ben Folds, CAKE Judah & the Lion, and Colongy House.
