Aside from the fact that you have to have the same brunette color to join the band, Llovers also require you to craft brain-adhesive psychedelic pop that has the mating sound of old Tame Impala and The 1975. Their latest single, “Go Get Her, Go Getter,” is built on bliss-inducing riffs that has a pinch of kaleidoscopic flavor and the sonic grasp of a pop song that is ready to nestle in your brain for a long time. Stream below:

“‘Go Get Her, Go Getter’ is about the end of a relationship – more specifically how falling in love with the concept of someone, rather than their true selves, leads to multiple contradictions and a breakdown of communication” explained Llovers’ co-frontman Jack Brooks.

Aside from Jack, Llovers are David Macnab (vocals/guitar), Joe Connor (bass/backing vocals), Mathew Jenkinson (drums) and Ben Connor (synths) who are based in Teesside, UK. “Go Get Her, Go Getter” was co-produced by Sugar House (Pale Waves, Viola Beach) and is out now on all digital platforms. The band has some shows coming up in the upcoming weeks, so go check them out:

8/18 – The Cluny (Newcastle upon Tyne, UK)

9/7 – Westgarth Social Club (Middlesbrough, UK)

11/16 – The Hope & Ruin (Brighton, UK)
