Sydney from your teenage eyes

If you need a quick crash course in making the most out of your time in Sydney, Phantastic Ferniture’s “Dark Corner Dark Floor” video is not your guide…but if you want to party like a local, then this is it! Directed by Nick Mckk and the band, “Dark Corner Dark Floor” takes us through random alleys while channeling the local spirit of the city. Like any city around the world, it is bright but there is an isolating element to it. Watch below:

In the regards to the song, the band shared, “When you’re a kid from out of the city you think Darling Harbour is the essence of Sydney. The aquarium, the Ferris wheel, the IMAX theatre. You imagine when you finally make it to the big smoke you’ll spend your weekends falling in love under the lights of the high rises. Turns out if you move to Sydney you’ll probably never go there. We wanted to capture that feeling we had when we were two starry eyed teens imagining a fake city life.”

The song is from the trio’s self-titled album, which was released back in July 27. The trio has shows coming up this month:
