Aussie R&B duo CVIRO & GXNXVS throws back early R&B sound with a splash of hip-hop in their new single “Caught Up.” It sounds retro, but also has a modern soul infusion and the punchiness of hip-hop choruses. Drawing influences from Scott Storch and Dr Dre, “Caught Up” has the hybrid vibe between classic hip-hop that Millennials grew up with and the trip hop sound that Gen Z lads are living with now:
“’Caught up’, explores the west coast sound that heavily influenced the making of our debut EP Now You Know.” shared the duo.
After releasing a series of viral tracks in their home country, the duo is now expanding their beats overseas and have been infiltrating the R&B/trip-hop charts around the globe. “Caught Up” is from their upcoming debut EP Now You Know, which will be out soon. Be on the lookout for a new music video soon.
