Album Alert: Rubblebucket’s ‘Sun Machine’ Is Out In The Wild

An album born out of open relationship, conscious uncoupling, addiction, chemotherapy, and friendship

If there’s a duo that has survived an intra-apocalypse, then it’s NYC duo Rubblebucket. Comprised of Kalmia Traver and Alex Toth, Rubblebucket has just dropped their latest album Sun Machine, which pretty much captures all the personal chaos that the duo went through. If you were pissed that your colleague broke the coffee machine fuck you Carl then take a listen to Sun Machine – a groovy and melancholic journey of Kalmia’s battle with ovarian cancer, Alex’s attempt to get sober, and their open relationship (which crashed and burned after three years).
