We Were Promised Jetpacks’ “Repeating Patterns” Is Puppet Apocalypse

Scottish rock quartet We Were Promised Jetpacks traumatize our inner child with their latest video “Repeating Patterns” where we see puppets in a semi-hell setting rocking out and facing death. It’s weirdly entertaining and while you’ll never see puppets the same way as you did before, the video absolutely delivers that kick of novelty and wild imagination that only a disturbed child would come up with – it’s glorious:

“‘Repeating Patterns’ is one of the first songs we wrote for this album. It’s been getting a great reception at our shows and has become a really important song for us. Our goal when recording was to not tame it and keep it as raw and raucous as it is live.” shared WWPJ.

The track is from their upcoming album, The More I Sleep The Less I Dream, which will be out on September 14 via Big Scary Monsters. It’s the band’s first album in four years and revisits some of their root sounds as artists. “The album is so much about us going back to our basics and relying on our instincts.” shared WWPJ’s Mike. “There’s a range of songs that span everything we do as a band, and we’re the connection between them. It feels like this album is us.”

We Were Promised Jetpacks will kick off an extensive worldwide tour next month, so don’t miss them:
