LA-based quartet Future Feats channels the summer heat and 80s pop with their newest single “Keep Up,” a sparkling single that propels you to the dancefloor. Designed to keep your adrenalines hopping, “Keep Up” has the dynamic hooks of mainstream pop but embellished with unexpected 80s twists that makes it a modern retro anthem. Stream below:

“‘Keep Up’ is a song written about the unspoken precautions that two parties should always consider speaking before rushing ahead into any serious relationship. On the other hand, the song is also about throwing a certain amount of said precaution to the wind when thinking to yourself that you’ve finally found the winning combination to someone else’s strangely-caged heart.” shared lead singer Josh. “It’s about both sides..playing out a perpetual game of ‘Keep Up’ until the opposing force finally falls off their path. And hopefully, the winner will still be found somewhere near the starting line exclaiming loudly to ‘Get Your Shit Together’ just in time to help the other find their way back on track. It’s not love at its finest, it’s love at its fastest.”

Having recently wrapped up their tour with The Wombats and Tokyo Polic Club, Future Feats has been touring nomads this year and garnering buzz in the synthpop community. The track is from the band’s upcoming debut album, which they are currently finishing. They have a show coming up:
