Aussie R&B duo CVIRO & GXNXVS (pronounced as ‘cairo’ and ‘genius’) spread their nocturnal swag in their new gritty video “Caught Up” where they pair the smooth smokiness of the track with hazy 90s-ish visuals. It’s the type of song that you would play during a pre-gae and afterparty, where you’re digesting all the glory of the night while trying to wrestle with the weird feeling of melancholic bliss. Watch below:
“Caught Up is just the first visual insight into C&G so we wanted to create something raw and gritty, while paying homage to some of our biggest visual inspirations like Hype Williams. We created something with our Director Matt Earl that will set ourselves apart from the crowd, just like the signature C&G sound.” shared the duo.
The duo met in Whakatane, New Zealand where they immediately hit it off and started songsmithing together. So yeah, it was bromance at first sight. They’re planning on releasing more sngles, so stay tuned.
