UK rising act Sun Silva reflects on the simple and cyber pressure-free days in their debut single “Blue Light,” a subtly melancholic and festive track flooded with horns that exhibits an air of classiness. It’s almost as if you’re experiencing some form of mini marching band, but with the intimate sophistication of a band. Stream below:

According to frontman Oscar Gormley the song “is about how social media dominates so many young people’s lives. The song is about how this freaks me out and it reminisces on simpler times.”

“Blue Light” has already been soundtracked by FIFA 19 and garnered support from BBC radio. They will be supporting Jungle this week and playing another show next month, so check them out:

9/13 – New Slang (Kingston Upon Thames, UK)

10/15 – Hoxton Square Bar & Kitchen (London, UK)
