London-based R&B artist RAY BLK roasts her exes and yours as well in her new self-empowering single “Empress” where she reclaims her dignity. With her witty charm, RAY BLK shuffles through the stereotypical exes that at some point we’ve encountered – hypocrites, thugs, stoners, you know who we’re talking about. It’s an intimate acoustic R&B piece where Ray smilingly reminds women that they’re royalty. Directed by award-winning director Geej Ower, the video features guest appearances from Maya Jama, Julie Adenuga, and Ray’s closest friends. Watch below:

“This is my story – done my way. It’s about seeing yourself, knowing what you deserve and it’s for girls to wake up and see themselves as empresses.” shared Ray.

RAY BLK garnered buzz in the UK R&B scene with her EP Durt, which was released back in October 16th. The gal will start touring next month, so go check her out:
