Molly Burch Owns Your Childhood Fantasy Farm In “To The Boys”

Molly Burch is making us all jealous by achieving our long lost childhood dream – become a paper doll farmer. The video, directed by Emily Ann Hoffman, features Molly chilling with her toy animals while looking like Dolly Parton. The track is an unapologetic anthem for confidence, but the video is a resuscitation of your childhood dreams and what your life would’ve looked like if you never gave it up:

In regards to the video, Director Hoffman explained, “I loved how playful and strong the song’s message was and wanted the video to have the same feeling. I liked the idea of a paper doll seeming delicate and feminine, yet standing up to a pack of mean pigs and leading a horde of animals with confidence.” She continued, “Molly and I had a lot of fun looking at old videos of Tammy Wynette and Dolly Parton for outfit and hair inspiration for her paper doll.”

“To The Boys” is from Molly’s upcoming album First Flower, which will be out on October 5th via Captured Tracks. Molly will also start touring that same day, so go see her:
