It’s gonna be a fierce tour

British/Icelandic punk rock trio Dream Wife has been making waves across the rock scene with their debut self-titled album, which was released earlier this year. If you haven’t, make sure to blast it in full volume. It’s bombastic, therapeutic, and invigorating for your soul:

As part of their US headline tour, the band announced a support slot open call for female and non-binary artists in select cities earlier this summer. After going through 400 submissions, the trio has finally unveiled the opening acts for the following cities:

War Violet – Philadelphia, PA @ Johnny Brenda’s

THICK – Brooklyn, NY @ Knitting Factory

New Myths – Washington, D.C. @ DC9 Club

Heavenly Creature – Cleveland, OH @ Beachland Tavern

Moscow Apartment + Hearken – Toronto, ON @ Hard Luck Bar

Nonbinary – Detroit, MI @ El Club

Girl K – Chicago, IL @ Schuba’s Tavern

Strange Relations – Minneapolis, MN @ 7th Street Entry

Kaylyn Rogers – Seattle, WA @ Barboza

Dirty Princess Band – Portland, OR @ Doug Fir Lounge

BTCHKRFT – San Francisco @ Cafe Du Nord

The Living Roomers – Los Angeles @ The Echo

“One of the best things about touring is getting to meet, exchange ideas with, and play music alongside kickass bands from all over the world. For our autumn headline tour dates we are calling for women/non-binary artists to come share their music, thoughts, the night and a stage with us.” shared the gals. “Gender diversity in the music industry is still an issue and the aim is to provide a platform for women/NB musicians regardless of experience, financial backing, number of online followers etc. If you’ve got rock ‘n’ roll in your soul, if you’ve got something to say; we want to hear from you.”
