3 Reasons Why You Should See CHVRCHES This Fall/Winter

Their show is a trip

Scottish trio CHVRCHES are currently hitting the road right now and we had a chance to witness the trio kill it at the Greek Theater in Los Angeles last week. If you are on the tipping point between seeing them or not, see them. We compiled three very logical reasons why you should join CHVRCHES so you don’t even have to think about why:

1) Love Is Dead

In an age where the definition of love is getting constantly re-defined through personal relationships, vulnerability, existentialism, and more, this record really speaks to multiple generations who are trying to figure out what ‘love’ is. Contrary to the title, CHVRCHES does not only explore the mortality of such emotion, but also its rebirth and power. Plus it’s filled with bangers:

2) Cultural/anime crossover

It’s not the first time where we see artists from two ends of the world collaborate, but CHVRCHES’ “Out Of My Head” ft. Wednesday Campanella really bent our imaginations with its stunning anime and cosmic pop:

3) Female power

Shirt says it all.

Their show is an odyssey – it’s not just the band performing, but the lightning effects and the trio’s energy really make you feel like you’re watching a movie. Also, we learned that Lauren Mayberry is a superhuman. She managed to spin, jump, and own the stage in the raddest platform heels…fierce:
