Scottish duo LOVE SICK brings pop into a whole darker and mystic level with their new single “Fever.” The thrilling and chilling beats alongside the hooky pop texture reminds you of Michael Jackson’s “The Way You Make Me Feel” – which isn’t surprising since the song is largely inspired by the classic hit. With an edgy and almost sinister swagger, “Fever” exudes a dark magnetism that you can feel viscerally. Stream below:

“I remember we’d been listening to Michael Jackson on a rainy Glasgow day on our way to the studio,” Shaun explained. “We came up with a super rough idea that started just with the 808 and the line ‘I’ve got a little fever for you.’”

Comprised of Julie and Shaun, the do met at an office Xmas party while they were working at a life insurance call center. After running into each other in Glasgow by serendipity, they decided to form a band and debut their single “Bullet” in 2017, which broke 1 million streams. “Fever” is from their upcoming EP No Sleep, which they haven’t revealed any release dates yet.
