Brooklyn-based quintet Phony Ppl illustrates the toxicity and heartaching process of being with someone who is clearly unfit for us in their new funky single “Something About You Love.” Despite the thematic heavy-heartedness, the track is a buoyant and exquisite look into all the warnings that we selectively overlook when we want to be with the wrong people.
