Breakups are messy, but it transitions from shitty to dumpster level when your ex moves out and leaves the apartment in a chaotic state…you know, it’s somewhere between a post-frat party and getting robbed. One-woman band pronoun (Alyse Vellturo) nails that boiling anger and WTF moment in her new single “you didn’t even make the bed.” For all of us who had to emotionally and physically clean after a douche ex, this track is everything:

“I wrote this when I got home after an ex had just moved out and left it kind of a mess, when I just wanted to scream at the sky, when it was the final straw.” pronoun explained, “It transitions from the sad, defeated phase of a break up in to the angry one. This whole record addresses that phase, the one where you’re like ‘really…REALLY?!’”

The new single is from pronoun’s upcoming record, which will be out in spring 2019. The gal will be touring with Justin Courtney Pierre next month, so make sure to go see her:
