UK artist Jack Perrett diagnoses all the bad habits that destroy us (and our bank account) in his new rock single “Like A Fever.” As its title suggests, this is one rock’n’roll piece that hits and spreads throughout your body like an unstoppable contagious force. The adrenalin-kicking riffs and Jack’s glass-cutting vocals deliver a refreshing sonic hit that capture the absurdly addictive nature of bad habits:

“The song started off with a guitar riff that I had, then I had a couple of verses with lyrics based around chord progression. Lyrically, the song is about the people who go out in their own city centres every Saturday night and get into trouble after not handling their drink.” explained Jack. “It is sort of me saying ‘Why waste your money every weekend on drinking in the same nightclub surrounded by the same people who you don’t even like?’ After a few practices in the studio I started playing it live with the band and people watching us were loving it so it had to be the next single.”

Originally from Newport, Jack quickly garnered critical acclaim for his debut EP What You Saying, which was released back in May 2016. Since then he has been featured in BBC radio and making waves across Australia and US. He is currently on his UK tour:
