Diskopunk’s “Lilla Pojke” Is Disco On Underground Steroids

Swedish quintet Diskopunk dips the shiny disco ball into the dark waters of underground sound in their new single “Lilla Pojke.” It’s hella groovy where the five injects you with an ambiguous dose of loneliness, bliss, and hope. The song itself is about finding empowerment within vulnerability, but if you are just a heartless creature, then you can also use it as a dance excuse:

“Racing between loneliness, hybris, sheer joy and downfall, the song ultimately revolves around fragility, and finding power within it. ‘Little boy, you are strong. Little boy, you are warm.’” shared the band.

“Lilla Pojke” is from the band’s upcoming EP, which will be out in January 2019. They have a headline show coming up in UK next February, so go see them:
