NoV3L Makes Glorious Post-Punk/New Wave Sound

Vancouver-based newcomers NoV3L makes music that serves as time capsule of 70s/80s, but also nudges towards modern indie rock. It’s dark, raw, and has a lyrical sharpness that cuts straight through the point. Their latest offering, “To Whom It May Concern,” transports you into a noir dimension where the mantric anti-capitalist phrases “Time is a resource / To use and to treasure!” provokes an invigorating sense of rebellion:
