Summer Heart’s “Touch” Is Psyche Pop For All You Outsiders

Coz being different is always disorienting

Swedish artist Summer Heart captures the foreign and disconnected emotions of being an outsider in his new single “Touch.” It’s a dreamy psych-pop that is smudged with the woozy elements of R&B and swelling atmospherics. Stream below:

“The lyrics for ‘Touch’ are inspired by the idea of feeling different. Not better or anything, just different. You know how we all more or less are trying to play along to the game that life is but without knowing exactly how to or what is actually expected of you. Doing music can definitely make you feel like an outsider from time to time, so I guess that’s where this idea is coming from in the first place.”
