They’re the middle children you’ve always dreamt of having

Just when we thought that the best of 2018 has ended, we caught Aussie trio Middle Kids live at The Echoplex. In case you don’t know, they’re like the middle Kardashian children you’ve always dreamt of having – but with talent. This trio makes rock that pushes your nostalgia buttons but also has the placebo effect of caffeine on your body. If you missed them on tour (coz Echoplex was their last 2018 tour), we’ll make you feel even worse by giving you 3 reasons why you should’ve seen them:

  1. Lost Friends

This is the album that any Gen Z and Millennial can relate – it’s a look into the past and captures the incessant longing for simpler, youthful days. Also, it’s groovy af:

  1. They really pour out all of their energy onstage. Even though listening to the album usually puts us into an existential state, their live energy and performance dynamic amplify the rock swag of their songs. They make you feel old and young at the same time.
