UK artist Nina Nesbitt knows how to take us into the ethereal corners of her imagination in her new video “Colder.” Exploring themes of heartbreak and its aftermath, Nina channels a fairy aura in the video which serves as the antithesis of the idealized love story we grow up believing. Directed by Debbie Scanlan and filmed in in Bing Crosby’s old house (Palm Springs), the video has warm intimate close-ups that are contrasted by the cold water where we immerse ourselves into with Nina :

“‘Colder’ was the last song I wrote for the album. It was written after watching young kids in love and how fearlessly they fall for each other because they’ve most likely not had their heart broken before. It’s a song about the aftermath of that and explaining to someone why you find it hard to open up.” shared Nina.

The track is from Nina’s upcoming sophomore album The Sun Will Come Up, The Seasons Will Change, which will be out on February 1st. She’ll also start touring next month, so go see her:
