Aussie psych-pop artist Methyl Ethel toys with the laws of gravity in his new video “Trip The Mains” where we see him suspended in his chair, crash into beds, and stretch the surrealistic corners of our imagination. Directed by Matt Sav, “Trip The Mains” is a shimmering dark video where the new wave rhythmic curtain brings another layer of eccentricity. Watch below:

In regards to the track, Methyl Ethel’s Jake Webb shared, “behind every eye-twitch, a depleted mainframe barely pulses. ‘Trip The Mains’ is my moment of short circuiting.”
