Better Oblivion Community Center Throws A Cult-Like Party In “Dylan Thomas”

Better Oblivion Community Center, the collaborative project of Phoebe Bridgers and Conor Oberst, takes us into the eerie corners of a cult-like party in their new video “Dylan Thomas.” Directed by Michelle Zauner (Japanese Breakfast), the video is a thrilling enigma that scratches the dark imagination of our psyche – watch below:

In regards to the video, Michelle Zauner explained, “Phoebe Bridgers and Conor Oberst are two of my favorite songwriters and lyricists of our time, so it was an honor to get to work with them on the visuals for their new project together. As always I worked with Adam Kolodny, my DP and creative collaborator to bring this cross between an Eyes Wide Shut LA mansion party and the Great Northern Hotel to life.”

“Dylan Thomas” is from the duo’s self-titled debut album, which they recently surprise-released. The duo will start hitting the road in March and will be joining Phoenix on April 13th. Go check ‘em out:
