Charly Bliss Murders Our Inner People-Pleaser In “Capacity”

In the most self-satisfying way

NY quartet Charly Bliss has shared their latest video “Capacity” today where we see them kill their inner people-pleaser with dark humor. Directed by Michelle Zauner (Japanese Breakfast), the video’s narrative and song capture the essence of being aligned with yourself rather than others. Watch below:

“It was a dream come true to work with Adam and Michelle on this video. ‘Capacity’ is a song about wanting to kill your inner people-pleaser, and Michelle beautifully presented a parallel concept, which warns of the perils of getting swept up in other people’s bullshit.” Shared Charly Bliss’ Eva Hendricks.

“Capacity” is from Charly Bliss upcoming new album Young Enough, which will be out on May 10. They’ll start touring soon, so go see them:
