Dreamy pop for the lonely

Aussie trio Huntley helps us navigate through the tragic aftermath of a breakup in new single “Giving Circle” where they swiftly keep us intoxicated with moodiness, but keep us in a dance mode. It’s a washed-out song of pop and R&B elements where the punchy lyrics like “I’ll admit that I wanted to hate you” strikes right at the core of our own vulnerability. Stream below:

“‘Giving Circle’ is a pop tragedy, combining rawness and intimacy with movement and energy. It’s about dread, loneliness, and how we shift and adjust to our social landscapes after the end of a relationship.” explained vocalist Elspeth.

The track is the final taste of Huntly’s debut album Low Grade Buzz, which will be out on March 15th. The trio has some shows coming up in Australia, so go check them out:

2/24 – Carlton Baths (Carlton, VIC, Australia)

5/4 – Golden Age Cinema & Bar (Sydney, NSW, Australia)
